Windlands rules
Rules exist so everyone can play fair and relaxed. By joining the server, you agree to them. Not sure if something's allowed? Ask on Discord before you get punished for it.

How we punish
The penalty depends on the violation and how often it repeats. We use these measures:

| Ban | banned from logging in for a set time |
| Permanent ban | banned from logging in forever |
| Confiscation | we take back what was gained dishonestly (items, karats) |
The tables below list the penalty for a first / repeat / third offense.
1. Chat and communication

| 1.7 Politics, 18+ content, or shock content in chat, nicknames, or guild names | 24 h mute + forced name change / 7-day ban / permanent ban |
2. Cheats, bugs, and third-party software

| 2.5 Attacking the server or attempting to hack it | permanent ban |
The built-in auto-attack, map route auto-run, and auto-fishing are allowed: they're part of the game.
Found a bug? Open a ticket on Discord. Staying quiet about a bug and exploiting it is violation 2.3.
3. Trading and scams

Staff do not return items handed over on trust outside a proper trade window. Trade only through /trade, the auction house, or buy orders.
4. Accounts

| 4.4 Boosting one account with another (karat transfers, PvP "feeding") | confiscation and 3-day ban / 30-day ban |
Never share your account password with anyone. Staff will never ask for it.
5. PvP
- You can fight other players only in PvP zones and during sieges. That's part of the game and isn't punished — it runs on karma.
- Forbidden: colluding to farm karma or kill counts, killing new players at their spawn point to grief them. Penalty: 1-day ban / 7-day ban / 30-day ban.
6. Names
Your nickname, guild name, and title must not contain profanity, insults, advertising, politics, or staff impersonation. Violation: forced name change; a repeat gets a 3-day ban.
7. Staff
- Staff do not hand out items or karats on request.
- A moderator's decision can be appealed (see below), but arguing about it in general chat is violation 1.3.
- If a rule doesn't cover a situation, staff decide and explain the reasoning in the ticket.
How to appeal a penalty
- Open a ticket on Discord within 14 days of the penalty.
- State your nickname, the date, and what happened. Attach screenshots if you have them.
- We'll reply within 3 days. Appeals are decided by a different moderator than the one who issued the penalty.
Reporting a player
Open a ticket on Discord: nickname, time, what happened, a screenshot or video. We'll still review reports without evidence, but we may not always be able to act.
